After Shreyas Iyer was out, the run rate of Punjab Kings was suddenly curbed. It seemed that the way the team started, they would not be able to finish the innings in that way. However, Marcus Stoinis had different intentions. He scored a total of 27 runs by hitting 4 sixes in the last over of Mohammed Shami. Stoinis scored 34 runs in just 11 balls and due to this Punjab team was able to make the second highest total in IPL history. Shami gave away 75 runs in his 4 overs which is the most expensive spell by any Indian bowler in IPL.
