Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians: The 50th match of IPL 2025 was played between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. In this match, the Mumbai team performed brilliantly and defeated the Rajasthan team by a huge margin of 100 runs. In terms of runs, this was MI’s third biggest win in IPL. Playing first, Mumbai Indians scored 217/2 in 20 overs, in response to which Rajasthan’s team was all out for 117 runs in 16.1 overs.
Mumbai Indians batsmen performed strongly

After losing the toss and batting first, the pair of Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma started cautiously for Mumbai Indians. Both of them did not take much risk in the initial overs and despite this, added 58 runs without any loss in the powerplay. After this, Rickelton and Rohit adopted an aggressive approach and shared a 116-run partnership. Rickelton scored 61 runs in 38 balls with the help of seven fours and three sixes.
At the same time, Rohit played an innings of 53 runs in 36 balls, which included nine fours. After this, Suryakumar Yadav and captain Hardik Pandya took charge. Both of them batted aggressively and did not let the RR bowlers succeed. There was an unbeaten partnership of 94 runs between these two, due to which MI set a target of 218 runs. Mahish Teekshana and Riyan Parag got one wicket each from Rajasthan Royals.

Chasing the target, Rajasthan Royals had a bad start and opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi returned to the pavilion without opening the account. Yashasvi Jaiswal also went after scoring 13 runs in 6 balls, Nitish Rana scored 9 and captain Riyan Parag scored 16. The fall of wickets continued further. From the lower order, Shubham Dubey contributed 15 and Jofra Archer contributed 30 runs but could not succeed in getting his team to victory. For Mumbai Indians, Trent Boult and Karn Sharma took the maximum of three wickets each.
