In the opening over, Sai Sudharsan missed a catch off Will Jacks. Then, in the fifth over, Sai Kishore couldn’t hold onto a catch off Yadav. Despite the dropped catches, the Titans successfully contained MI from posting a big total in the match. By the 17th over, MI had lost seven wickets, suffering a significant collapse in both the top and middle-order. Key players such as Tilak Varma (7), Hardik Pandya (1), and Naman Dhir (7) were dismissed for single-digit scores.
At the end of the 17th over, MI’s score stood at 125 for seven. The Titans made a strong comeback with excellent teamwork in their bowling attack. All their bowlers took at least one wicket, effectively dismantling MI’s batting lineup.
