UAE Women Retired out: Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier matches are being played in Bangkok these days. The sixth match was played between UAE and Qatar on Saturday. In this match, the UAE team retired out their entire team to win and in the end they were successful in winning.
In this match, the UAE women’s cricket team came out to bat first. Playing first, the team had a great start. Opener Tirtha Satish and captain Isha Rohit Oja batted explosively and made a partnership of 192 runs for the first wicket. The team looked in a very strong position.

The whole team retired out
But when UAE came to know that rain could dash their hopes of victory, the team came up with a unique trick. It retired out its entire team, because there is no rule yet for declaring an innings in the T20 format. Every batter of the team reached the crease wearing pads, but returned to the pavilion after retiring out. This sequence continued till the whole team was all out.
In this way, both the openers were ahead in terms of scoring the most runs for the team. Oja played a brilliant innings of 113 runs with the help of 14 fours and 5 sixes in 55 balls. 74 runs came from the bat of Tirtha Satish. The whole team was all out at 192 runs.
