Ravindra Jadeja has maintained his position as the top-ranked Test all-rounder since March 2022. Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has etched his name in the record books of the International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings, holding the top spot in the ICC Test rankings for all-rounders for the longest duration.
In the latest ICC rankings update, Jadeja has secured his position with 400 rating points. Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz is in second place with 327 rating points.
South Africa’s Marco Jansen and Australia’s Test captain Pat Cummins are ranked third and fourth, respectively, while Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan takes the fifth spot. In addition to his all-rounder ranking, Jadeja is ranked 48th among Test batsmen and 10th among bowlers.
Ravindra Jadeja’s Rise to the Top of ICC Test All-Rounder Rankings

In March 2022, Ravindra Jadeja climbed to the top spot in the ICC Test rankings for all-rounders. Known for representing India in ODIs and Tests, the left-handed all-rounder reached the pinnacle after an outstanding performance against Sri Lanka in a Test match in Mohali. Jadeja delivered a remarkable display, scoring an unbeaten 175 runs and claiming nine wickets in the first Test of the two-match series.
Jadeja replaced West Indies’ Jason Holder to secure the top spot. Since then, he has consistently maintained his position as the number-one all-rounder in ICC Test rankings.
Having played 80 Tests for India, Jadeja has accumulated 3,370 runs at an impressive average of 34.74 and has taken 323 wickets at an average of 24.14. His form in the longest format of the game has been exceptional since 2022.
In 2022, Jadeja scored 328 runs and took 10 wickets in three Tests. The following year, he added 281 runs and 33 wickets across seven matches. In 2024, he reached new heights with 527 runs and 48 wickets in 12 games.
Jadeja was also a key player in India’s 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) series against Australia, where he scored 135 runs and took four wickets in three matches.
