India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya picked up an injury during the Super Four clash against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2025, which forced him to miss the tournament final. His participation in the upcoming Australia tour in November now appears doubtful.
Hardik Pandya bowled only one over in the game against Sri Lanka at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium before walking off the field due to discomfort. He did not return for the rest of the match and was also absent in India’s next fixture against Pakistan.
The 31-year-old is nursing a left quadriceps injury, and reports suggest it is highly unlikely that he will recover in time for the full Australia series, scheduled to begin on October 19 at the Optus Stadium in Perth with three ODIs followed by five T20Is.
