In ODI cricket, the Indian team stands as the second-most successful in the world, behind only Australia.
India has clinched two ODI World Cup titles, in 1983 and 2011. They have played the most number of ODI matches and secured the second-highest number of wins, trailing only Australia.
Much of their success is attributed to their world-class batsmen. With the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, India is home to two of the greatest batsmen in ODI cricket history.
