Following the breakthrough, the young spinner celebrated in his signature style, drawing attention from fans across the cricketing world.

Interestingly, Rathi had recently revealed his admiration for Narine after being named Player of the Match in LSG’s previous game against Mumbai Indians. In that match, he delivered an economical spell, conceding just 21 runs and taking one wicket in his four overs.
“I’m really enjoying it. I like getting batters out,” Rathi had said after receiving the award. “I started bowling after watching Sunil Narine. I want to develop a more attacking mindset like his, and stay calm under pressure, just like he does.”

It was a dream-come-true moment for Digvesh Rathi during the KKR vs LSG clash on Tuesday, April 9, as he took the prized wicket of his idol, Sunil Narine. The KKR opener was dismissed after scoring 30 runs.
Rathi marked the special occasion with a one-of-a-kind celebration he mimed signing an autograph on the field, adding a personal and memorable flair to the moment.

Rishabh Pant-led LSG put up a mammoth total of 238/3 in their clash against KKR, powered by stellar performances from Aiden Markram (47), Mitchell Marsh (81), and an unbeaten 87 from Nicholas Pooran.
Rathi has been in fine form throughout the league, picking up seven wickets in five matches at an average of 20.28 and maintaining an economy rate under 8. He has featured in every match for LSG so far.
